的一个.D.N. program at Eastern Oklahoma State College prepares graduates to earn an Associate of Applied Science 学位 with a major in nursing and are eligible to write the NCLEX (National Council Licensure Examination) to become a registered nurse. 两年 (four semesters) of full-time academic study are required to complete the program. One class is admitted each August. Instruction is planned to provide close correlation between theory and practice. 医院, long-term care facilities, 诊所, 临终关怀, and home health agencies are utilized for nursing experience.

The program prepares individuals to perform client-centered care at the beginning staff nurse level. Graduates may pursue career interests in a variety of specialty areas and services.

• Basic Licensure Degree Checklist

LPN/EMTP to RN Transition Program

This track is available to students who have been practicing as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) or Paramedic. To qualify for admission, one must be an LPN/Paramedic with at least 800 documented hours of nursing work experience. To enter the bridge program, the LPN/Paramedic must pass examinations in nursing fundamentals, obstetrics and pediatrics.

LPN/EMTP to RN Transition Program - Hybrid Online

This hybrid 在线 track is available to students who have been practicing as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) or Paramedic. All courses are available 在线 with in-person clinicals required. 测试 and skills labs can be completed at Wilburton, McAlester or Idabel (minimal times per year). To qualify for admission, one must be an LPN/Paramedic with at least 800 documented hours of nursing work experience. To enter the bridge program, the LPN/Paramedic must pass examinations in nursing fundamentals, obstetrics and pediatrics.

的一个.A.S. in 呼吸治疗 is designed for students who wish to become respiratory therapists, offering emergency and immediate relief to patients who have trouble breathing, including from chronic respiratory disease such as asthma or emphysema, a blocked passageway or other life-threatening experiences such as heart attacks, 溺水或休克.
