Overnight :Hotel Day 02: Agra - Keoladeo Ghana National Park This morning after the breakfast proceed for a city tour of Agra. The city of Agra is dominated both by Hindu as well as Muslim community. As such there are a number of mosques and temples in the city. Some of the mosques and temples are real attractions due to their historical importance. The Mughal kings have left their landmarks behind and some as historical worshipping places. Visit Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday), Red fort & Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula. Later you will visit a marble gallery - the flagship store in Agra which offers an excellant range of white marble, fashionable wear & exotic wooden articles, truly a one stop shop! Moti Masjid, is renowned in the city because of its beautiful architectural design. Likewise there is Jama Masjid which has been providing service since long. Akbari Masjid is one more important worshipping place for Muslims. Besides mosques there are many temples located in the premises of Agra city. The important temples of Agra are Bhageshwarnath Temple, Mangaleshwar Temple, Shri Krishna Pranami Temple, Arya Samaj Temple. The memorial of Swami Maharaj in Dayal Bagh is a famous one. Every year the place is visited by thousands of devotes. In addition to these the city is well provided with churches. There is St. John's Church, St. Mary's Church and St. Peter's Church which regularly deliver their services. Later in the evening proceed to Keoladeo Ghana National park. Overnight :Hotel Day 03: Keoladeo Ghana National Park This morning after the breakfast move out to identify few species of birds as morning time considered as the best time for bird watching. Afternoon free to relax in your hotel. Later in the evening take a Rickshaw ride inside the National Park. Overnight :Hotel Day 04: Keoladeo Ghana National Park - Jaipur Early morning, have a completely rewarding experience of seeing an overwhelming range of birds during the rickshaw trip into the Keoladeo Ghana National Park.. Later drive to Jaipur in your exclusive vehicle. On your arrival to the charming Pink City of India check in at your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight :Hotel Day 05: Jaipur The cultural roots of Jaipur are reflected in the temples of Jaipur. The city houses several temples, which depict the religious nature of the pink city dwellers. The royalty of Jaipur always encouraged the spirituality and aesthetic sense of admiration in the foundation of the city. It doesn't mean that people are conservative or orthodox in their approach. Here, all religions are equally appreciated, but as Hindus dominate the city, you will find a number of temples in Jaipur. The artistic temples of Jaipur provide an enthralling view to the visitors. Amongst the others, temples like Birla Mandir, Moti Dungri, Galta ji and Govind Deo Ji are worth mentioning. Birla Mandir gets the limelight of this trip with its wonderful carvings and brilliant architecture. Dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the Temple of Moti Dungri lies on the peak of a hill. Govind Deo ji temple is situated in the beautiful City Palace complex of Jaipur. Proceed for a sightseeing tour of Jaipur after breakfast at the hotel with an excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride ascent to the fort. AMBER FORT PALACE - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate _expression. CITY PALACE - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum. JANTAR MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use. HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women. Overnight: Hotel Day 06: Jaipur - Bikaner This morning drive to Bikaner and transfer to hotel Proceed for a sightseeing of Bikaner including a visit to Bhandasar Jain Temple and Shiv Bari Temple Visit Bikaner Bikaner is named after its founder Rao Bikaji in 1488. Long before this, the city was a trade center on the caravan routes from Africa and West Asia. Bikaner's dominant features are rippling sands and abundant sunshine. The city stands on an elevation, enclosed by a 7 kms. wall, which can be entered from 5 gates. Bikaner City is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. Overnight: Hotel Day 07: Jaisalmer In morning drive to Deshnok Temple (The Rate Temple). Later drive to Jaisalmer. On arrival check in to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.. Overnight: Hotel Day 08: Jaisalmer This morning after the breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer City tour of Jaisalmer. The Golden City - Jaisalmer. It is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert. Its temple, fort and palaces are all built of yellow stone. The city is a mass of intricately carved buildings, facades and elaborate balconies. Visit the JAISALMER FORT - The oldest living Fort in the world. (This is the highlight of the tour) See the Patwon-Ki-Havelies, Salim-Singh-Ki-Haveli and Gandhi Sagar Tank. Also visit Barabagh Hill. Afternoon visit Sam Dunes with camel ride. Overnight :Hotel Day 09 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur Morning drive to Jodhpur and on arrival, check-in at the hotel Proceed for a sight seen of Jodhpur. City tour of Jodhpur Visit Mehrangarh Fort, Mehrangarh Fort was founded in 15th century by the Rathore Rajputs when they shifted their capital from nearby Mandore to Jodhpur. Mehrangarh appears to rise from bluff-coloured sandstone hill itself, so well built into the base that it is difficult to tell where the hill ends and the walls begin. It is approached by a series of seven gateways set at an angle so that armies could not charge them with any success. Pass the gates, the fort-palace takes one's breath away . Across from huge courtyards are the set wings of palatial apartments that have been built over five centuries of bristling history. Also visit the Jaswant Thada, located half way up the interminably long road that climbs onwards to the fort, is the traditional cremation ground of the rulers of Jodhpur. Taking pride of place amongst the ornamental gardens and chattris is the fabulous white marble memorial to Jaswant Singh II, built in 1899. The cenotaphs of other rulers, in the same neighbourhood, are relatively simpler. Inside the main hall are royal portraits and other possessions. Night stay in Jodhpur. Overnight: Hotel Day 10: Jodhpur - Ranakpur Morning drive to Ranakpur in your exclusive vehicle. On arrival check in to your hotel. Visit the Ranakpur temples The Ranakpur Jain Temple was built during the reign of the liberal and gifted Rajput monarch Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. The basement is of 48,000 sq. feet area that covers the whole complex. There are four subsidiary shrines, twenty-four pillared halls and domes supported by over four hundred columns. The total number of columns is 1,444 all of which are intricately carved with no two being alike. The artistically carved nymphs playing the flute in various dance postures at a height of 45 feet are an interesting sight. In the assembly hall, there are two big bells weighing 108 kg whose sound echoes in the entire complex. Evening free to relax. Overnight: Hotel Day 11: Ranakpur - Udaipur This morning drive to Udaipur On arrival at hotel. Visit Udaipur The most romantic city in Rajasthan. With its hilltop fortesses, fairy tale palaces and exotic legends and its urben and Industrial centres, the dty is proud of its heritage as a centre fo performing arts, painting and crafts. Most of the marble palaces and fortification have now been transformed into palace hotels .
