Day 01 : Delhi
Begin your Tour.
Arrive into Delhi
Welcome to Vardhman's Tour ! On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and
transferred by Vardhman's representative to your hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi
This morning after breakfast proceed on a City Tour
Half day City tour of New Delhi.
After breakfast, visit New Delhi, which includes the main attraction
like Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu
Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and Connaught
place, the shopping centre of New Delhi.
Half day City tour of Old Delhi.
After breakfast, visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan,
Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti
Vana, the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also
drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.
Optional: Dances of India or explore the market & shop for special
bargains!

Day 03 : Delhi - Jaipur
After breakfast drive to Jaipur . The city owes its names, foundation
and its careful planning to the great warrior ( astronomer Maharaja
Jai Singh II. In 1727) with Mughal power on the wane, Jai Singh decided
to move down from his hillside fortress at nearby Amber to a new site
on the plains. He laid out the city, with its surrounding walls and
six rectangular blocks, according to the principles of town planning
set down in Shilpa Shastra, an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture.
Arrive Jaipur and check in at hotel. After lunch, visit Hawa Mahal ,
Birla Temple etc.
Rest of the Day free for individual activities.

Day 04 : Jaipur
After breakfast, excursion to Amber Fort :
At a distance of 11 kms from Jaipur, Amber was the ancient capital of
Jaipur state. Construction of the fort began in 1592 by Raja Man Singh,
the Rajput commander of Akbar's army and is a superb example of Rajput
architecture. Elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravallis to the
fort entrance Afternoon, city tour of Jaipur. Visit the City Palace
which has museum having an extensive collection of art, carpets, enamel
ware and weapons; Jantar Mantar - the observatory built my Maharaja
Jai Singh in 1728 and the façade of Hawa Mahal.

Day 05 : Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
After breakfast, leave for Agra, enroute visiting the abandoned
Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569,
was the old capital of the Mughals, which was abandoned after 15 years
due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama
Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & other Palaces which
are still preserved in its original glory.
After lunch, drive to Agra.
Arrive Agra in the forenoon and check-in at hotel.

Day 06 : Agra-Varanasi
After breakfast, start the city tour of Agra. Visit Red fort, which
was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and additions were made up until
the time of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It contains the hall of public
and private audiences amongst many other beautiful structues. Itmad-ud-daulah,
which was contructed by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628 and is very
similar to the tomb she constructed for her husband, Jahangir, near
Lahore in Pakistan. The highlight of the Day - The Taj Mahal, which
was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Contruction
of the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653. Afternoon,
free for individual activities &
Evening transfer to Tundla railway station.
2015 hrs. - Leave for Varanasi by train.

Day 07 Varanasi
0510 hrs. - Arrive Varanasi (Mugal Sarai) and transfer to hotel.
Varanasi was formerly known as Kashi - the city that illuminates. The
religious capital of Hinduism ,Varanasi is the oldest living city of
India & one of the worlds most ancient. The present name is derived
from the fact that the city is at the confluence of the rivers Varuna
& Asi.
Half day tour of Sarnath.
Half-day tour of Sarnath, the buried Buddhist city where Lord Buddha
gave his first sermon, Sarnath was a renewed school of learning from
6th Century B.C. to 12th Century A.D. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the
Buddhist Temple and the Museum

Day 08 Varanasi
Proceed on Boat Cruise on River Ganges
Early morning boat excursion on the holy river Ganges to see the bathing
ghats and cremation site. Watching people bathing and worshipping at the
ghats is one of the most extraordinary experiences of a visit to India.
Later proceed on a city tour of Varanasi.

Day 09 Varanasi - Kathmandu
Morning at leisure
1310 hrs - Leave for Kathmandu by flight.
1420 hrs - Arrive Kathmandu and trasfer to hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight : Hotel
Day 10 Kathmandu
Morning proceed on a tour of Kathmandu. The city is a concentration
of temples. Visit Hanuman Dhoka, Kal Bhairav, Kumari Mandap, the museum
and bazaar. Later return to your hotel.

Day 11 Kathmandu
This morning proceed for a sightseeing tour of Patan and Bhaktapur
city. In Patan, visit Singh Durbar and Tibetian Handicrafts Centre. In
Bhaktapur City (also known as Bhadgaon), visit Durbar Square and Nyatapala
Temple. On arrival in Kathmandu, check into your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 12 Kathmandu - Delhi
Today in-time transfer to the airport to board flight for Delhi. On
arrival Delhi and board the flight for your onward journey to back home
with sweet and unforgettable memories of your tour escorted by Vardhman
